Burgschaenke in Landshut

Good service and a very nice view over Landshut. Great terrace.

The Burgschänke is a lovely restaurant near Trausnitz Castle. The food is very tasty and well priced! The portions are very large, tasty and came quickly. We liked the view of Landshut and the service staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Gladly again!

Waited 20 minutes for drinks to be ordered in spite of not too heavy traffic, now we are already waiting 15 minutes to be able to pay. 👎🏼 Food tasted good, but there was no salt and pepper to season. The dumplings are very small.

New Burgschänke Landshut? Simply TOP !!! The food tastes really delicious and the location is amazing too. Thanks to the entire great team in the new Burgschänke. You really notice how much energy and passion you invest in your restaurant and your guests. We'll definitely be back soon😍

The only criticism I've read in other reviews of the Neue Burgschänke so far is that the waiting times would be a little longer. I can say everything is great and the service is fast. The food is great, let alone the ambience of the castle and this view of the historic city center. The basilica "Martinskirche" can be seen with the tallest brick tower in the world in full splendor and broadside. The Neue Burgschänke is an experience.

There were five of us on a Wednesday evening in the Neue Burgschänke. In the previous reservation I asked for a place outside (when the sun is shining) or if it is raining in the restaurant. Both tables were kept clear when we arrived and we could then decide where to sit. The service was very friendly in my opinion and more than quick. The food came very quickly afterwards and we all enjoyed it. Since it was during the week there was only the normal menu, but sufficient. We had the baked potato, schnitzel and roast pork, all great. In summary, we liked it very much and we would love to come back. The view in the evening from the castle is also very nice.

Were not thrilled 3/4 of the small menu sold out at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. Then you don't have to be open until 10pm.

The service is very good. All friendly and very accommodating. The food is top notch. The portions are just right too. The only criticisms are the quite long waiting time when eating and in places it smells very much of fries fat on the very nice terrace. All in all, the new castle tavern is recommended. We will definitely be back

Very cool location with a great view and very delicious food. Sizes of the portions are just right, nicely arranged and really tasty. A star deduction because we had to wait a little longer to order and eat. Otherwise really great👍🏻 You definitely have to go by again. 😉

Particularly noteworthy is the excellent, super well-rehearsed and warm service. That alone has already earned the five stars. The food leaves nothing to be desired in terms of taste, plus the view over the city. We recommend

Very nice service in a wonderful ambience. You can really enjoy our beautiful Landshut on the terrace with city views. The baked potato with scampi was very attractively arranged and tasted very fresh and tasty with the grilled vegetables. We will definitely be back :)

We were in this really nice place for the first time yesterday. The staff super nice and helpful, the food was delicious and the portions plentiful. Also very child-friendly. We recommend.
